Finance Manager (SBS International Bangkok)

SBS International Bangkok, based in Lat Krabang - Finance Manager

• To perform any relevant assignment as directed by immediate superior and top management. This is vital to the success of the role as it requires adaptability to be able to embrace any request from Senior Management. The role is not limited to the bullet points below.
• The business operates as two entities - a corporate entity and a school entity as prescribed by the Private School Act. The Finance Manager will direct and control both of these entities.
• Recording of all transactions in accounting software
• Planning, organizing, directing and controlling the operation of the finance and accounting functions.
• Assist top management in business planning and advise on key financial issues affecting the organization’s operations and profitability
• Establish financial/accounting policies and procedures for implementation.
• Timely preparation and presentation of monthly financial/management reports (to meet regulatory requirements and compliance with the organization’s policies) for management’s review
• Budgetary forecast and control. Review monthly operating results projections and forecasts.
• Manage/ensure credit policy, credit approvals and credit limits are established.
• Controlling month-end and year-end closing
• Fixed Asset Control
• Ensuring timely submission for all Finance Reports including Corporate Income Tax Return.
• Preparing monthly rolling forecast, short term and long term plan including annual budgeting report.
• Highlight adverse variances of expenses versus budget to management for monthly review.
• Ensuring corporate taxation and legal matters, being liaison with tax authority and external auditors for statutory compliance
• Updating all tax requirement issues concerned directly with the company business activities and informing all related staff
• Ensuring the company fixed assets and inventory control is effectively controlled
• Oversee purchasing system
• Monthly payroll until HR Manager appointed
• Supervising a team of Finance & Accounting staff as the school expands. 

• Accounting licence (CPD) *Required
• Experience in service delivery in a school environment would be desirable
• Operational experience of School Management Accounting Systems
• Budget and Profit & Loss ownership
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Degree or higher level qualification in related area, Accounting is preferred, consistent with having a CPD license
• Right to work in Thailand
