Purchasing Officer (Material Planning)

 Key objectives & Activities :

1.Taking responsibility for the material planning and purchase order planning of the manufacturing plant.

2.Planning purchasing terms & agreement.

3.Sourcing new suppliers, both domestically and internationally, to support production and sales requirements.

4.Maintaining good relationships with existing suppliers.

5.Being responsible for the purchasing of indirect material on a tender basis.

6.Coordinating with the Supply chain Team in relation to organizing delivery and controlling inventory.

7.Coordinating with the Production planning Team to ensure planning and scheduling is completed in a timely manner.

8.Ensure Raw material delivery on time basis.

9.Monitoring costs, quality and levels of service.

10.Interface with personnel responsible for planning and scheduling of production requirements. Liaising between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments and customers.

11.Manage and control price and delivery of Direct and Indirect material & Manage Purchase order

12.Manage and Control import transactions to meet BOI regulatory requirements.

13.Follow the Purchasing Policy to meet the requirement of IATF16949 and ISO14001.

14.Other relate duties as assigned 

• Male/ Female
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in related field.
• Job Experience: At least 5 years’ experience in purchasing and planning.
• Strong knowledge of material planning and sourcing/negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of ISO14001 and IATF16949 standards relevant to the quality system.
• Good command of spoken and written English and computer literacy.
